Lauren was born and raised in Visalia, CA on a dairy farm. She grew up helping her dad out on the farm cutting springs on hay bales, feeding calves, and scrubbing troughs. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, minoring in Agricultural Economics, Suma Cum Laude. She met her husband, Danial Twigge, while attending A&M.  They were married, and moved to Dallas. She then earned her Masters in Clinical Nutrition from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. After that, she became a Registered Dietitian in 2019.

Services:

Lauren took advantage of her background and educational experience to start a dietitian program. Her program offers a variety of packages and products to educate, motivate, and support her clients in their food journey.

As a dietitian, she claims that the best decision for health is one that you can feel good about! In no way does she want her clients to feel uncomfortable and insecure about the decisions they make about their diets.

She strives to make very realistic suggestions, so that they may become long term habits and ultimately successful in their goals.

Lauren believes in the simple basics of food, keeping all complications out of analyzing one's food. This means that she does not promote diets such as keto, gluten or dairy free, organic only, or any other type of restrictive diets.

"Talk to me Tuesday's" are a great way for Lauren to engage with her audience. It also allows her to learn what her followers are interested in learning about. She then gears her weekly content according to the type of questions she receives from her followers.

Her main takeaways and themes throughout her content focuses on getting the proper nutrition through food. She focuses on the right amount of nutrients from food, wether conventional or organic. She highly discourages any type of cleanses, food supplements, and fad diets.
